Instructions:

For the curd strudel with apples and dried plums for the dough, put flour, salt and 3 tablespoons of oil in a bowl. Gradually stir in 125 ml lukewarm water. Then knead the dough until it separates from the edge of the bowl. Brush with oil and let rest, covered, for 30 minutes. Then roll out on a floured work surface in the shape of a rectangle or prepare the finished strudel sheets according to package instructions.

Wash the lemon hot and rub dry. Grate some peel and squeeze out the juice.

Mix the curd cheese with egg, sugar and lemon zest and brush the strudel dough with it.

Peel the apples, cut them into quarters and remove the core. Sprinkle with the lemon juice and spread on the strudel dough. Cut the dried plums into smaller pieces and spread them on the strudel dough as well. Roll up into a strudel and place with the seam side on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush the curd cheese strudel with apples and dried plums with liquid butter and bake in the preheated oven at 180 °C for about 30 minutes.
