For the currant cake, mix well the melted butter with yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar and water. Stir in the flour mixed with baking powder and the milk.

Cover the baking tray with buttered paper and spread the dough thinly on it. Make a snow with the egg whites and the sugar, fold the currant into the snow and cover the dough with it.

Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Then cut into rectangular pieces while still hot.
