Curry Fish with Apples and Onions

Rinse the fish under cold water, rub dry, sprinkle with juice of one lemon and set aside. Cut the apples and onions into small cubes.

Heat some oil in a large saucepan, start by sautéing the onions until translucent, then add the apples and dust everything together with enough curry, add the clear soup and sauté for 5 minutes with the lid closed over medium heat. Then add whipped cream and season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper.

Cut the fish into pieces and place on top of the apple and onion mixture, simmer on low heat for about 4 to 5 min.

Carefully turn the fish pieces to the other side and simmer gently for another 4 to 5 minutes.

As a side dish, white bread is exceptionally suitable on hot days, but it also tastes very good with mashed potatoes.
