Instructions:

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.

Mix milk well with eggs and cream. In a large pan (about 30 cm) melt butter, fry onion and garlic until translucent, add bread cubes little by little.

If the pan becomes “too small”, add a little of the milk-upper-egg mixture. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Pour the remaining Mich egg mixture on top and bake in the oven at about 180 °C top/bottom heat for about 45 minutes. Towards the end, grill briefly over high heat.
