Mix egg, carrots, potatoes, yeast, ground cloves and oat flakes together to form a dough. Salt. Stand for about 20 minutes. Heat a frying pan with a small amount of fat and bake two narrow pancakes from the mixture. cool. Cut into small strips.

For the sauce, brown the flour in a hot frying pan without fat. Add the onion cubes. Extinguish with clear soup. Add spices and cucumber cubes one after the other and boil down to a creamy consistency. At the end add the fat. Then add the “Stroganov” strips to the sauce and simmer for about 20 minutes. Serve with rice or with boiled potatoes or noodles.
