For the fish in white wine sauce, peel and crush the garlic. Clean the fennel and cut into strips.

Halve the bell bell pepper, remove the seeds and also cut into strips. Halve the chili pepper, remove the seeds and chop finely.

Melt butter in a pan, add garlic, fennel, bell bell pepper and chili. Cook for 5 minutes. Add the orange zest, juice and wine, season and bring to the boil.

Add the fish to the pan and put the lid on it.

Reduce the heat and continue to simmer for about 10 minutes, until the fish is cooked and can be easily picked apart with the tip of a knife.

Season if necessary, sprinkle with basil leaves, add the orange slices and serve the fish in white wine sauce.
