For the fortune cookies, have 6 pieces of paper with Christmas messages ready. Do NOT whip egg whites, but mix all ingredients together until smooth. Let the dough stand for a bit.
Line a baking tray with paper and then use one tablespoon of dough to make 6 large circles on the paper. Preheat oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat and bake cookies for 4-5 minutes until edges are brown.
Provide an empty jar, turn off the heat, quickly remove the circles one by one from the paper (pallet!), put on the message, fold and then hang the half circles over the edge of the jar to get the typical cookie shape, so that they become real fortune cookies.
