For green bean goulash soup, finely chop onion and garlic. Fry onion and garlic a little bit in some butter. Add thyme, marjoram, bay leaves and paprika powder and let it roast a bit.
Deglaze with a splash of vinegar and add vegetable soup (alternatively use vegetable cubes and water).
Chop vegetables, add to pot and simmer until al dente. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
