For the fruit wine punch, first peel the melon, scoop out the core and dice the flesh.

Wash, dry and halve the grapes.

Cut the pineapple into cubes.

Peel and slice the banana.

Bring the red wine to a boil, remove from heat, add the fruit, allow to infuse for 5 minutes and sweeten to taste.

The fruit wine punch can be served in mugs, each with a long-handled spoon.
