Instructions:

Beat sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs until foamy. Stir in the water, lemon juice and oil. Sift flour with baking powder and mix with cocoa in another bowl.

Stir the flour-cocoa mixture into the sugar-egg-oil mixture. Pour into a greased and floured baking pan and cover with apricots (or another fruit such as currant). Bake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.
