For the gingerbread house, prepare the dampfl, at least one day before further processing. To do this, boil the honey to the weak thread, after cooling still warm process with the flour and spices. Leave to rest for a day, cooled (but not too cold) and covered.

While the dough is resting, you can prepare the stencils for the different parts of the house (see tip).

The next day, work in the remaining ingredients. Roll out the dough to the thickness of a finger and cut out the pieces for the house. Let it dry at medium temperature, more than bake. Use a saturated meringue mixture (egg white/dusted sugar) to glue the gingerbread house together.

If you want, you can glue the windows with tissue paper and leave a part open in the back and put a tea light inside.
