For the Greek Meat Skewers with Peppers and Onions, first cut the pork into larger cubes. Cut pancetta into narrow slices (three to four centimeters long). Rinse peppers, cut in half, remove core, cut into three centimeter long pieces.

Peel the onions and prepare them like the peppers. Remove thyme leaves from the branches. Peel garlic clove, chop finely. Brush pita bread with water, bake in oven at 140 °C.

Alternate bacon, peppers, meat and onions on wooden skewers. Mix oil, thyme, garlic, paprika powder and pepper well and coat the skewers with it. Heat skillet, insert skewers, sear, and then cook at moderate temperature until cooked through.
