For the ham and leek quiche, wash the leeks and cut into thin slices. Mix both and sauté briefly in a little oil.

Roll out the short pastry thinly on a floured work surface. Line a round or oval baking dish with it and spread the leek-ham mixture on it.

Mix eggs with milk, parsley, two thirds of the grated Gouda, salt, pepper and marjoram and pour over the leek-ham filling.

Sprinkle with the remaining grated Gouda. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Then reduce the heat to 170 degrees and bake the ham and leek quiche for another 15 minutes.
