For the homemade fruit pudding, measure out 500 ml of milk and bring about 2 thirds of it to the boil. Add the cornstarch to the remaining milk with the help of a whisk and stir until smooth.

Boil the mixture into the boiling milk, stirring constantly until it bubbles – it is important to stir constantly so that nothing burns and that it boils again, because otherwise you can taste the starch too much.

Then reduce the heat and continue stirring in the fruit puree of choice and maple syrup or sugar – continue stirring for about 1 minute.

Pour the finished pudding into bowls, cover and let cool!
