Total time: 1 hour

Instructions:

For the ice queen cake, melt chocolate. Beat egg whites and granulated sugar until stiff. Cream butter, powdered sugar and yolks until fluffy. Allow chocolate to cool slightly and add.

Mix flour and baking powder and fold into the mixture alternately with the snow. Pour into a greased and floured cake pan and bake in a preheated oven at 170 °C for about 50 minutes – then let cool.

For the ganache, chop the chocolate. Heat the whipped cream and let the chopped chocolate melt in it. Place in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours and then whip briefly.

Cut the cake in half – spread with ganache and stick together again – spread the rest of the ganache all around the cake. Allow to set a little.

Roll out roll fondant thinly and cover the cake with it. Use the remaining pieces for snowflakes and balls.

Sprinkle the cake with a little cake glitter and powdered sugar.
