For the basic broth, briefly grate the kombu with a wet dish rag and add to the cold vegetable soup form and heat with the bonito flakes to boiling point. Remove clear soup from the kitchen stove and pour through a fine sieve. Do not use the kombu and bonito any further.

This basic broth is also available as a ready-made product. It is then called Dashi-no-Moto and is stirred only in water.

Soak Mu-Err mushrooms in cold water and dice Shii Take mushrooms and tempeh. Heat Shii Take mushrooms, Mu Err mushrooms, tempeh and wakame in the clear soup and bring to the table hot on the spot.
