Instructions:

For the Sacher cake, first prepare the chocolate sand mixture.

For the mixture, place the butter, powdered sugar, eggs and chocolate in a mixing bowl and mix well.

Mix flour with baking powder and pudding powder and sift over the top. Fill the mixture with a springform pan (26cm) floured on the bottom and smooth it out.

Place the pan in the lower half of the preheated oven and bake at 170 °C for about 60 minutes. Cool the cake well and turn it out, divide it once in half and spread with the jam.

Carefully put the upper part back on top and spread the entire cake with jam. Chill the cake for 1 hour. Then brush the Sachertorte with the cocoa glaze and let the glaze cool.
