For the Kaiserschmarren separate the eggs. Mix the yolks with flour, salt and milk to a dough. Beat the egg whites until stiff and add the sugar. Fold into the batter.

Heat the butter in a pan, pour in the batter, cover and let it bake. Turn down the temperature a little, then turn the dough over and finish baking. Tear the Kaiserschmarren into pieces with a fork, sprinkle with sugar and serve immediately !
