For the Kaiserschmarren, first mix the milk and flour in a bowl and add the 3 egg yolks one by one. Then add the sugar, salt and melted butter.
Finally, fold in the beaten egg whites. In a pan, heat the oil and add the batter. After 10 minutes, turn and bake for another 5 minutes until the dough is cooked through.
Break into small pieces and cover with powdered sugar. If you like, you can serve the Schmarrn with applesauce.
