Separate the eggs, beat the egg whites to snow, stir the yolks, sugar, milk and flour until foamy. Fold in snow and possibly raisins. Heat butter in a pan.

Add the dough in portions and bake on one side for about 3 minutes. Turn dough over, tear into pieces with a fork and let Kaiserschmarrn finish baking for about 5 minutes.

Serve the Kaiserschmarren sprinkled with powdered sugar.
