Prepare a kneaded dough from sugar, baking powder, wheat flour, egg, bitter almond baking oil, vanilla sugar and butter. Knead in very coarsely chopped hazelnut kernels.
Form rolls about 2.5 cm thick, coat with condensed milk and roll in 100 g chopped hazelnuts.
Refrigerate or freeze the rolls for one night.
Cut the very cold rolls into 1/2cm thick slices with a sharp kitchen knife and place them on a greased baking tray. Bake at 175-200 °C for 10-15 minutes **.
