Instructions:

First, peel the potatoes and cut them into slices. Then put them in a container with water.

Then put the potato slices into boiling salted water and boil until soft. Strain the potatoes, return them to the pot and mash them with a masher.

Add 1 tablespoon butter and stir firmly. Slowly add the milk, stir vigorously and season with salt.

Cut crackers in half and cut diagonally once from the right and once from the left.

Fry the crackers in a pan on both sides and then serve with the mashed potatoes.
