Instructions:

Simmer the knackwurst in lightly simmering water for 10 minutes. Peel the potatoes, cut them into quarters and cook them in a pressure cooker for 10 minutes under pressure. While still hot, add the milk, butter, nutmeg and salt to make a puree.

Skin the knackwurst, make a slight incision in the center, make small incisions around the edges and fry in hot fat until brown.

Season the mashed potatoes again, add pepper and salt if necessary.

Arrange the knackwurst and serve with the mashed potatoes.
