For the Königsberger dumplings, soak the bread in water and mix with the minced meat, egg and finely chopped onion. Season with salt and pepper.

Form 12 dumplings from the mixture.

Form small fat-flour dumplings with butter and flour.

Put all the dumplings in an unperforated cooking container. Pour broth over them and cook (at 100°C for 10-12 minutes).

Gently stir the sauce until smooth, add capers and season to taste. Sprinkle chive rolls on top.

The Königsberger dumplings are served with rice.
