Instructions:

For the lentil pancakes on root vegetables, soak lentils for 1-2 hours and cook in soaking water for about 30 minutes until soft and drain. Sauté onion and garlic until translucent.

Puree 2/3 of the lentils and mix well with the whole lentils, onion, semolina and eggs and season with the spices and parsley. Form flat loafs and fry in oil on both sides.

For the vegetables, cut potatoes and root vegetables and boil in salted water. Finely chop the onion and sauté in oil until translucent, then briefly fry the vegetables and season.

Arrange the lentil pancakes on the vegetables.
