Instructions:

For the Linz eyes, prepare a shortcrust pastry from the ingredients. Allow to rest.

Roll out to a thickness of 2-3 mm and cut out cookies with a serrated cookie cutter. Cut out a small star in the center of half of the cookies.

Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake at 170°C for approx. 8-10 minutes until light.

When cooled, stick 2 cookies together with jam. Serve the Linzer eyes.
