Marjoram Liver with Honey Onions

1. clean broccoli, rinse and divide into roses. Peel onions, cut into rings. Heat 1 tbsp oil and butter in a frying pan. Fry onions in it, turning until golden brown. Add one eighth of a liter of water, clear soup and honey. Cover and steam for about 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper and keep warm.

In the meantime, steam broccoli in a little boiling salted water with lid on for 5-7 minutes until tender.

Clean, rinse and dry the liver. Fry in 2 tbsp. hot oil for about 5 minutes. Fry marjoram briefly. Season with salt and pepper.

Drain broccoli well. Arrange honey onions with liver and broccoli, maybe garnish with marjoram. Serve with parsley potatoes.

Do not stand long! Onions and leeks are best prepared on the spot after peeling and cutting, otherwise the essential oils oxidize in the air. The vegetables will smell unpleasant and become slightly bitter. It also loses a little of its health benefits.
