Instructions:

For the Mozart muffins, preheat the oven to 200 degrees and line a muffin tray with paper cups.

Cut the nougat into small pieces. Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl and mix with salt, almonds and nougat pieces. Mix the marzipan mixture with the butter in a mixing bowl until smooth.

Then add the powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, egg and milk and mix well. Finally, fold in the flour mixture. Pour the batter into the muffin tin and bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 200 degrees.

For the icing, melt the nougat in a water bath and spread on the cooled muffins. Sprinkle the chopped pistachio nuts on top.
