Carefully brush the oysters under cold running water. If there are any open ones, throw them away. They are no longer good. Just before serving, crack them open with the oyster opener. Remove the beard. The oyster juice must remain in the shell. Arrange oysters in shell on ice pieces. Garnish with half a lemon.
