If you have guests on beautiful sunny days or want to celebrate ditto just the two of you, create this pineapple punch. It is always welcome.

Remove the skin from fresh pineapple. Cut out hard strand and discard. Dice flesh, sugar, pour 1 bottle of wine over. Leave to infuse for one hour. Pour in the rest of the wine. Just before serving, pour in sparkling wine. If using canned pineapple, drain fruit. Dice the pulp, add the juice of your choice, pour over a bottle of wine and leave to cool for 1 hour. Now add the remaining wine and sparkling wine.
