For the curd dumplings, mix curd cheese with egg until smooth, stir in flour and salt. Form dumplings from curd mixture with 2 tablespoons (about 14 pieces).

Fry over medium heat for about 2 minutes, turn the dumplings and sprinkle with half the amount of cheese. Fry for 2 minutes, turn again, sprinkle with remaining cheese and fry again for 2 minutes.

The dumplings will spread a bit during baking. Serve the pot dumplings sprinkled with chives.
