Cut the rectangular rolled puff pastry into even squares and spread the curd mixture prepared from the remaining ingredients evenly on top. Fold the four corners of each square inwards and, if you wish, brush them very carefully with egg yolk, but it is better to brush them with melted butter before the end of baking. Bake on baking tray moistened with water at about 200 °C. The golden brown pot pies can be sprinkled with powdered sugar. Instead of curd, you can use jam, thick fruit pulp or apple puree.
