Instructions:

A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Separate eggs. Beat egg yolks, sugar and butter until creamy, then stir in the remaining ingredients (except egg whites). Whip the egg whites until stiff, then carefully mix in the beaten egg whites (they will stay stiff longer if you add a little sugar!).

Bake: 30 minutes at 200 degrees on the middle rack.

Filling:

Then hollow out the cake as follows: with a kitchen knife cut about 1 cm from the outer edge all around to about 1 cm above the bottom. The inside of the cake is then scraped out with a tablespoon. The crushed crumbs are now mixed with the whipped cream (whipped cream + vanilla sugar + cream stiffener) and the grated half bar of chocolate. This is used to fill the cake one more time. The other half bar of chocolate is only now rubbed onto the cake. In no case use ready-made crumbles! Always keep the cake in the refrigerator. The chocolate should be well cooled before processing.
