The sausage slices pictured on the package are about the same as in reality.

At first, the reddish-yellow color scares a little bit. But there are several sausages made in Italy and Turkey – they look similar.

All in all, it is a mild quite good tasting sausage with bacon pieces that turned out too big for my liking (compared to the sausage diameter). Good cutting quality, quite pleasant in the bite.

Even if the skin is declared as edible, it is recommended to remove it beforehand (which is pleasantly easy to do), because parts of the skin get stuck in the teeth when eating.

Very pleasant is the sausage, cut into very thin slices, as an ingredient in soups and vegetable pots. However, due to its mild inherent taste, dishes should be mildly seasoned. I cooked with the sausage from the beginning.

An attempt to add the sausage to an egg dish revealed that it was not exceptionally suitable for that purpose.

An attempt to add slices of this sausage to a Tk pizza resulted in the pizza virtually “drowning” in oil.
