For the pumpkin seed oil cake, egg yolks, water, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and pumpkin seed oil until foamy. Beat egg whites with granulated sugar until stiff.

Stir the yolk mixture with about 1/3 of the egg whites and the flour until smooth, then fold in the remaining snow. Grease the Gugelhupfform, dust with flour and line with chopped pumpkin seeds.

Bake the pumpkin seed oil gugelhupf at about 170 °C for 1 hour.
