Instructions:

For the dough, beat butter, eggs, sugar and salt until fluffy. Knead with as much flour until the mixture no longer sticks. Put the dough ball in the refrigerator for about 1/2 hour.

Preheat the oven to 170 °C. Grease a cake pan.

Wash the rhubarb, peel it, cut it into small pieces and mix it with some sugar (the amount depends on the acidity).

For the glaze, beat the eggs with sugar. Stir in the cream and add the vanilla custard powder.

Roll out the chilled dough and place it in the prepared mold. Prick this dough bottom several times with a fork. Sprinkle the semolina on top and spread the marinated rhubarb on top. Pour the glaze over it.

Fold in the overhanging edges of the dough and bake the cake in a hot oven until the edges turn a nice brown color.
