For the rösti pizza, first peel the potatoes and grate them not too finely, squeeze out the excess water with a tea towel. Chop the onion and garlic, mix with the eggs and sour cream and season with salt and pepper.

Fry in portions with a little oil in a pan for about 10 minutes. To do this, spread the potato mixture over the entire size of the pan about 1 1/2 cm high and press it down. Then place on a baking tray covered with baking paper.

Mash or puree the tomatoes. Slice or shred the mozzarella. First spread the tomato sauce, then the mozzarella on the potato slices. Bake in the oven with the grill function on for c. 15 minutes until the mozzarella has melted.

In the meantime, pluck the basil and spread it on the hash brown pizza.
