Instructions:

For the sausages wrapped in pita bread, first knead all ingredients for the pita bread and roll out thinly on a floured work surface.

Cut the sausages in half. Cut the dough into strips wide enough to cover most of the sausages. Roll the sausages in the dough. Brush the dough with the egg. Place on a baking tray covered with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for about half an hour.

In the meantime, cut the chives into fine rolls. Mix with sour cream, salt and pepper.

Serve the sausages wrapped in pita bread with the chive cream.
