For the smoked meat stew, cook smoked meat in boiling water until tender, about three quarters of an hour. Clean, wash and dice carrots, kohlrabi and celery.

Wash leek and cut into rings. Peel potatoes and cut into slices. Dice the meat and place in a casserole dish.

Spread the vegetables over the meat, cover with the potato slices, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg and cook until done.

Wash and chop the parsley. Serve the smoked meat stew sprinkled with parsley.
