Instructions:

Cut the bread into small cubes and place in a large enough bowl. Pour the milk over it and let it rest for half an hour.

Fry the onion in butter, cut the cheese into small pieces and add to the bread with the flour, eggs and parsley. Stir carefully.

In a saucepan make enough salted water. Take small amounts with a tablespoon and form small balls with wet palms. Put them into the boiling water and simmer for fifteen minutes on low heat.

Take the dumplings out of the water and place them on the serving plate form. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese and a little melted butter.
