For the spinach with potatoes and crackers, place the frozen spinach in a wide pot on a stovetop. While doing so, set the stovetop to low heat and slowly defrost.

In the meantime, boil the potatoes in salted water until firm to the bite (about 40 minutes), peel and salt. Possibly toss in butter.

Briefly boil the defrosted spinach, add sour cream and salt, stir constantly and boil again briefly for 2-3 minutes over low heat.

Slice the knockwurst and fry briefly.

Arrange the spinach with boiled potatoes and knackwurst and serve.
