Instructions:

The simplest and fastest way to produce a kind of confection from a plain strawberry: The fruit is placed, green mop top up, in a bed of powdered sugar and served. This way, the fruit is covered with white sugar at the base – a fun eye-catcher at the summer party buffet or a pretty accompaniment to dessert.

Instead of powdered sugar, you can also use a sugar glaze: To do this, mix confectioners’ sugar with the juice of a lemon until smooth, dip the fruit in it and dry it on a praline rack.

Tip: The same can be done with liquid chocolate. They are also a welcome souvenir when placed in a praline bag or on a pretty platter.
