Instructions:

cooked, peeled potatoes free from the peel and press through a press into a suitable bowl. Mix sugar, salt, yeast and flour dry, with eggs and milk to the potato mass form, knead everything together well and leave the dough in a warm place for 30 minutes. In the meantime, heat a little oil in a frying pan, fry the onion cubes in it, remove from the pan without oil into a suitable bowl, fry the ham in the remaining oil, add to the onions with the parsley, mix well, seasoning with pepper, salt and a pinch of nutmeg.

Later roll out the dough to a 1 cm thick plate (approx. 25 x 40 cm), spread the filling evenly on it, leave a 2 cm border free, sprinkle it with egg yolk, roll up the dough, put it on a baking tray covered with parchment paper, let it rise repeatedly for 30 minutes, bake it in a heated oven at 180 °C for approx. 1 hour, cut it open and serve it warm.

Serve with smoked meats or grilled poultry with green salad.

Drink: chilled beer or white wine, depending on the dish.

Tip: Always use an aromatic ham, it will give your dish a wonderful touch!
