For the turkey leg with sauce, rub the drumsticks with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a roasting pan and fry the drumsticks very well all around.

Chop the onion and carrots and add to the drumsticks and fry. Add the tomato paste. Add spices, crushed garlic and the soup powder.

Add lemon water and 1/4 l hot water. Roast the drumsticks at 180 °C for about 1 hour in the preheated oven. Add some liquid if needed.

I cover my roaster and actually steam the drumsticks. When the main bone starts to loosen, remove the drumsticks and free them from the tendons (you can also leave them there. It’s just easier to eat without tendons).

Puree the sauce in a blender (remove bay leaves first) and season with salt and mix with the cream. Add the meat and heat up again.

Serve with pasta and salad.
