For the tomato salad, cut the tomatoes into slices. Place the tomatoes on a plate and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Press the garlic cloves or grind them with salt and spread them evenly on the tomatoes. Drizzle the slices with the juice of one lemon as well as the olive oil.
Chop the mint and sprinkle over the salad, possibly chill for a short time and allow to infuse.
