For the vanilla fondue with mini stollen, first prepare the mini stollen according to this recipe.

For the vanilla sauce, mix 2 tablespoons of milk with the custard powder and the egg yolks.

Bring the remaining milk to a boil with the whole pod and the scraped out vanilla pulp and sugar.

Remove the whole pod and stir in the egg mixture, boil again and transfer to the teapot. Keep warm with the tea light.

Cut the stollen into bite-sized pieces, dip them in the vanilla sauce and enjoy the vanilla fondue with mini stollen.
