For the whole chicken, wash the lemon hot and dry. Peel the peel in one piece and squeeze the lemon. Wash the chicken, pat dry, crumble a chicken soup cube and add to the chicken along with the lemon zest.

Rub the outside of the chicken with the roast chicken seasoning and place in the slow cooker. To the lemon juice, add the soy sauce and orange juice and stir through. Clean and quarter the mushrooms, peel and slice the onion, peel and finely chop the garlic clove.

Spread all the vegetables around and on top of the chicken, crumble the 2nd chicken soup cube, sprinkle it on top and pour the lemon orange soy mixture.

Cover with the lid and cook on HIGH for 4.5 to 5 hours. Then arrange the whole chicken with any garnishes and serve.
